Vladivostok International Airport found to be in conformance with ISAGO safety standards
Vladivostok, October 17, 2018. - Vladivostok International Airport has successfully passed the regular audit to certify the conformance of the ground handling procedures with ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) safety standards.
This makes the third time Vladivostok International Airport has successfully passed the audit for conformance with ISAGO. According to these standards, the conformance with ISAGO certificate must be confirmed each two years. The first certificate was received by the air harbour of Primorye in 2014, and in 2016 the airport was once again found to be in conformance with the high global standards of safety.
During the routine audit this year, Knevichi airport underwent the integrated assessment of main parameters under ISAGO standards, such as: management and control systems, systems of passenger servicing and luggage handling, systems of aircraft ground handling and aircraft ground movement.
It should be noted that having the ISAGO certificate means that the airport carries out the ground handling in accordance with international standards of air carriage. This considerably reduces the number of hazards, including damage to aircrafts and occupational injuries, both in the air and on the ground.
