Vladivostok Airport is one of the best airports in the country according to the last year results
On February 09 in Moscow, within the 2nd National Exhibition of infrastructure of airports and civil aviation, the ceremony of the national award “Air Gate of Russia” took place. More than 30 airports of the country took part in the event, among which was Vladivostok International Airport (JSC “VIA”).
The air gate of Primorsky region was awarded with the honorable second place in the nomination “The Best Airport 2015” (in the category “Airport of the Regional Importance”, up to 2 million passengers a year).
- The second year in succession Vladivostok Airport surely keeps its positions in the rating of best air companies in the country. For us, such recognition is an indicator that we work effectively and steadily, - said Igor Lukishin, the JSC “VIA” Director General. – I am eager to emphasize that our today's award is a result of work of all the staff of Vladivostok Airport, a team of highly professional experts, the people who are adequately carrying out one common cause for the benefit of civil aviation.
We would like to remind that the “Air Gate of Russia” award was organized last year by the NAIS organizing committee, the Federal Air Transport Agency and the branch-related portal AVIA.RU. The event is organized for the purpose of formation of positive image of airports and their business reputation in the society, as well as identification and encouragement of most effectively and steadily developing airports of the Russian Federation. The assessment of air enterprises is made under the criteria reflecting operation of airport terminals and services, the quality of service of passengers and airlines, operational indicators, aviation safety, non-aviation income of airports, ecological and social responsibility.
